Yeah, you can tell in the video that Zappa’s been doing that a while. Just funny how EVH got all the credit for stuff like that.

I just read a thing about Rick Derringer opening for Van Halen and he would play the tapping part from Eruption, then go into “You Really Got Me” :smile: It got him kicked off the tour, but it makes sense that he would be annoyed about some punk kid getting famous for a technique he’d already been doing for years.
