What Movie or Show did you just watch? Part 4

#1

Part 3 here

#2

Upstream color - From the guy that did Primer - I was lost but I guess after “post” analysis the plot is fairly straightforward - I was confused at the end of the movie - a lot of visual set pieces.

Super - Really liked this one - funny, dark and silly.
The Giant Mechanical man - enjoyed it though it was a romantic comedy technically
Wolrd War Z - A great zombie movie - really liked it. I put this on par with the Dawn of Dead remake.
Pacific Rim - I took my older kid to see this at IMAX - great godzilla like movie - robots vs aliens action.
Despicable Me 2 - Took the kids to see this one - enjoyed the minions - I’m sure they’ll spin off a minions movie
Turbo - Wasn’t expecting much out of this one but It wasn’t bad.

#3

Hit & Run - I watched this 'cause Kristen Bell was in it - but it was actually decent comedy.

#4

But she has small tits…

#5

Not as small as Milla’s

#6

They both compensate in the ass department though.

Did you see “You again”?

I would do unspeakable things to Odette Annable

Whoa!

#12

“Pawn Shop Chronicles”

This movie was insane!
Paul Walker as a southern fried meth head
Vincent D’Onofrio as a demented pawn shop owner
Matt Dillon as a crazed husband looking for his kidnapped wife
Elijah Wood as a psychotic kidnapper-rapist
…and Brendan Fraser as an Elvis impersonator

SquidBillies Season 2

#14

Now you see me (8/10) - I enjoyed this movie, but I have to say that it has ZERO re-watch-ability. When you watch it, you will understand.

Elijah Wood certainly changed his image in my mind with his role in Wilfred. Smoking bongs with a dog and now he’s a “psychotic kidnapper-rapist.” That’ll un-Frodo himself.

Robocop is one of my top favorite films… I hope they don’t fuck it up…Looking good on the action/effects side…

#17

Yeah, mine too

When I heard they were doing a reboot, I was not hopeful…then I saw that cast and thought - “It CAN’T be bad”!

#18

Just watched this:

NOVA (PBS) - Richard P. Feynman: The Last Journey of a Genius

#19

I’m surprised Feynman is not as well known outside engineering/science circles.

Quantum Man is a great book describing all the scientific contributions he made.

I just discovered “Arrow” on Netflix. It’s your typical almost superhero story line but they do it pretty well. You’ve also got to watch a few episodes to get into the story.
